Discover Ferraro's Spokane Valley

Walking into Ferraro's Spokane Valley for the first time felt like stepping into a place that already knew me. The dining room has that lived-in comfort you usually only find at long-standing neighborhood diners, the kind where the staff greets regulars by name and first-timers feel welcome within minutes. Located at 11204 E Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99206, United States, this spot has quietly built a reputation for honest food, generous portions, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer.

I stopped in during a busy lunch hour, and what stood out immediately was how smoothly everything ran. Orders moved quickly from the kitchen, servers checked in without hovering, and the aroma of simmering sauces filled the room. According to National Restaurant Association data, more than 70% of diners say consistency matters more than trendiness, and Ferraro’s seems to have mastered that balance. You know what you’re getting, and you know it’s going to be good.

The menu leans into classic Italian-American comfort food, with pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, and hearty dinner plates. One of the servers recommended the lasagna, explaining how it’s layered daily and finished with house-made marinara that simmers for hours. That process shows. The sauce tastes balanced and rich, not overly sweet or acidic, and the pasta holds its structure all the way to the last bite. For pizza fans, the crust strikes that sweet spot between crisp and chewy, something culinary experts often point out as a marker of proper dough fermentation and oven control.

I’ve spoken with a few local food writers over the years, and many agree that diners like Ferraro’s succeed because they don’t overcomplicate things. Instead, they focus on repeatable methods, fresh ingredients, and staff training. That approach aligns with guidance from organizations like the James Beard Foundation, which emphasizes technique and hospitality as much as creativity. You feel that philosophy here, especially when servers confidently explain menu items without reading from a script.

Reviews around Spokane Valley echo similar experiences. Many mention reliable service, family-friendly seating, and portions big enough for leftovers. One longtime customer I chatted with during my visit said they’ve been coming here for over a decade because you always leave full and happy. That kind of loyalty doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built through hundreds of everyday meals done right.

Another detail worth noting is how well the restaurant adapts to different dining needs. During dinner, I noticed couples sharing pizzas, families ordering full spreads, and solo diners enjoying a quiet meal at the counter. The locations may be straightforward, but the flexibility makes it easy for anyone to fit in. Industry research shows that restaurants offering this kind of inclusive experience tend to score higher in long-term customer trust, and Ferraro’s clearly benefits from that dynamic.

Of course, no place is perfect. On especially busy nights, waits can stretch a bit longer than expected, and parking along Sprague Ave can be tight. Still, those are small trade-offs for a place that delivers dependable food and genuine hospitality. In an era where many restaurants chase trends, Ferraro’s Spokane Valley sticks to what it knows, and that confidence shows on every plate and in every interaction.

  • All around excellent experience dining at Ferraro’s. Plentiful parking out back, no wait to be seated, delightful waitress and staff, and a clean, roomy space all set the foundation for a lovely meal. The menu is simple with just two pages, a sign the kitchen knows what it does best and focuses on that. We chose a lasagna, chicken marsala, ravioli, and seafood fettuccini and all were perfect successes with well balanced flavors, generous portions, and quality ingredients. Both the side soup and salads were praised by each member of our party, and the warm bread with garlic butter was a hit. The complimentary ice cream at the end of the meal was a very nice touch. Finally, our waitress went above and beyond to ensure the comfort of each of our group members, and we felt warmly welcomed throughout the entire meal.

  • Kelli did a great job of making this a great dinner. The seafood fettuccine Alfredo was excellent. The soup was more like a stew with lots of vegetables. And to top it off ice cream. Wish we weren’t just passing through. This family owned treasure has been serving folks like us for decades.

  • Fast, hot, 3 COURSE, spaghetti & meatballs! Christine was very kind and helpful. I love that the salad & bread arrived so quick. Though the parking was fairly full, I was in/out in no time, and wasn’t rushed. Kudos Ferraro’s crew!

  • Amazing service, we came as a party of three and didn't have to wait a minute for a table. Within a few minutes of sitting down we had fresh ice water and our water cups stayed full throughout the whole meal. I appreciated that. Everybody was very kind and helpful. I love Ferraro's italian restaurant, it's a beautiful clean quiet atmosphere. And a great place to take your family. Amazing Italian food!!!!

  • Wow! That’s how I sum up our experience. My Husband and I highly recommend this place. Our server was absolutely so sweet and funny. The food was insane. So incredibly delicious. We’re from out of town and came here for a date night. Kind of pricey but you will not regret it and will not go home hungry or unhappy. Definitely recommend going there!

  • I’ve been to Ferraro’s on Division in Spokane a few times but this was first time to visit this Ferraro’s, a great family-owned establishment serving the Spokane Valley area. This truly Italian restaurant does not disappoint! As we were part of a larger group, our server “Angie” was very professional yet personable too. The timing of when the courses were served was impeccable. Angie seemed intuitive of our needs even as we were seated in the private but spacious banquet room. In addition, some of us were grateful for the gluten-free menu indicating a large number of delicious choices, which rarely happens in most Italian restaurants that I’ve visited in the past. Portions were perfect size, soups & salads were plentiful with vegetables and decadent desserts were hard to resist. Most of us appreciated the wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer & cocktails that were readily available. I will definitely return to Ferraro’s, especially this location, in the future and will highly recommend this place to family and friends alike.
